Planned Pick Up Date
IntlMOVE Planned Pick Up Date Policy.
When using our regular and proven Pick Up Agent (PUA), we are sure that a suitable pick up day will be kept, if there is any problem, the PUA will call the customer, directly, and verify / change the pick up day to another acceptable day.
You, the customer, have the same privilege in case your plans change, and you require a different pick up date.
IntlMOVE cannot arrange the Pick Up time (hour) anywhere, but in many cases your PUA can advise if it will be an AM or PM pick up.
DO NOT BOOK YOUR FLIGHT ON OR NEAR THE SAME DAY AS THE PLANNED PICK UP DATE, UNLESS YOU LEAVE BEHIND SOMEONE ELSE TO HANDLE THE PICK UP ON YOUR BEHALF.
The three main factors affecting your Planned Pick up Date:

2. Advance notice
3. Origin
Time of the year
Off Peak Period.
September, October, November, December, January, February, March, and April constitute the Off Peak Period in the moving industry.
Peak Period
May, June, July, and August constitute the Peak Period.
Most of the international relocations happen during these 4 months.
During the Peak Period, you must be flexible regarding the Pick Up date and a window of a few days should be allowed.
Advance notice
The advance notice is the time required from placing the order, receiving your deposit and information until your planned pick up date.
During Off Peak Period: An advance notice of 2 weeks is recommended, a longer advance notice is preferable. With a proper advance notice, we rarely experience a problem in fulfilling the customer’s desired Planned Pick up Date.
During Peak Period, an advance notice of more than 2 weeks is highly recommended. PUA, packing teams, loading teams all have limited resources and are flooded with orders. A Pick Up date that was available in the morning may be gone by the time the customer wishes to place an order later in the day.
Origin
If your origin is in a remote, out of the way location, an additional 1 week advance notice is advisable.
We will always take your booking with your desired Planned Pick up Date, but we can’t guarantee the time or date of the Pick Up.
You will be contacted by your PUA soon after placing your order to establish the final pick up day. Your PUA will stay in contact with you, and as your move date gets closer, they will confirm the day of arrival at your home.
You will be able to contact your PUA and inform them of any changes in your contact information, your desired Pick Up date or your load.
